Check Out Oasis Music Festival On Aug. 29 At Burl’s Creek Event Grounds

Oasis Music Festival Returns on August 29 with an All-Star Caribbean Lineup
More than a Concert. A Cultural Movement
Oasis Music Festival, a premier Caribbean music and culture festival, returns for its highly anticipated second annual edition on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds for an unforgettable celebration of reggae, dancehall, soca, food, culture, and community.
Following a sold-out inaugural event in 2025, Oasis Music Festival is expanding its vision with a world-class lineup featuring some of the Caribbean’s biggest names. Headlining this year’s festival are Masicka, Sizzla, Jahshii, Wayne Wonder, Gentleman, and returning soca powerhouse Mr. Killa, who makes his second consecutive appearance after delivering one of the standout performances at last year’s event.
Presented by Chystar Promotions and Gombey Production, Oasis Music Festival is excited to welcome attendees for a full day of live performances celebrating the music and culture that have shaped generations across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. More than a concert, Oasis is a cultural gathering that celebrates Caribbean heritage, pride, and excellence, carrying the spirit of summer long after the Carnival season ends.
“This festival was created to give Caribbean culture the stage it deserves,” said Patrick Shirley, CEO of Chystar Promotions. “Oasis brings people together through music, creates opportunities for our community, and builds a festival that reflects the energy, diversity, and excellence of the Caribbean diaspora in Canada.”
Designed for the Caribbean diaspora and anyone who appreciates the music and culture, Oasis welcomes families, longtime fans, first-time festivalgoers, and the next generation of artists and creatives. Whether audiences grew up listening to Wayne Wonder and Sizzla or are discovering dancehall or soca for the first time, Oasis offers an inclusive, high-energy experience that puts the culture centre stage.
Beyond the performances, festivalgoers can explore a vibrant marketplace featuring Caribbean food vendors, local businesses, artisan brands, and community organizations, creating an immersive celebration of Caribbean life and entrepreneurship.
The 2026 festival builds on the momentum of its successful debut, which featured performances from Bounty KillerChamDexta Daps, and Mr. Killa, establishing Oasis as one of Canada’s fastest-growing Caribbean music festivals.
The 2026 Headline Lineup includes:
  • Masicka – Dancehall, Portmore, Jamaica
Portmore’s own, signed to Def Jam Recordings. His album Generation of Kings charted in over 40 countries, with 13 #1 Caribbean singles, making him the first dancehall artist to have two albums simultaneously in the Apple Music Jamaica Top 10.
  • Sizzla – Reggae, August Town, Jamaica
A pioneering voice in conscious reggae since the mid-1990s, best known for the genre-defining album Black Woman & Child, which earned him his first MOBO nomination. With over 70 albums released and a 2014 Grammy nomination for The Messiah, Sizzla remains one of the most prolific and respected artists in reggae history.
  • Wayne Wonder – Reggae, Kingston, Jamaica
The Reggae fusion legend behind ‘No Letting Go,’ a Grammy-nominated, Platinum-certified global anthem with over 150 million streams. Decades deep in the culture, still one of the defining voices bridging classic reggae with the world stage.
  • Gentleman – Reggae, Cologne, Germany
One of Europe’s most respected reggae voices, shaped by a lifelong bond with Jamaican music since his first trip to the island at 17. His 2024 album Confidence topped the German charts, and decades of genre-blending work have made him a defining bridge between reggae’s roots and its global reach.
  • Jahshii – Dancehall, Kingston, Jamaica
One of dancehall’s most electric new-generation voices. Broke through in 2021 with ‘Cream of the Crop’ and ’25/8,’ blending trap-edged production with raw Kingston storytelling. Since his Reggae Sumfest debut, he’s become one of the genre’s most-watched rising forces.
  • Mr. Killa- Soca, Grenada
Grenada’s soca powerhouse, first non-Trinidadian to ever win the International Power Soca Monarch title, taking it with his global hit ‘Run Wid It, ‘ shared by Drake and Major Lazer. His breakout ‘Rolly Polly’ became a Caribbean-wide anthem and one of soca’s most recognized records.
