The Bracebridge Fire Department was called to a possible structure fire on Evergreen Court at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23.
Firefighters attended quickly and found fire spreading into the walls of the kitchen. Crews were able to contain the fire to a Muskoka room and the living room. The family has been displaced due to damage to multiple rooms and water damage in the home.
There were no injuries reported and no word on a damage estimate.
