The Orillia OPP have completed their investigation involving a bomb threat at the Orillia City Centre. Police conducted an intensive search of the area, after being alerted to the threat.
The OPP Explosive Disposal Unit attended and determined there was no threat. Police have cleared the area and all roads are re-opened. All residents who were evacuated are now able to return to the area.
The Orillia OPP Crime Unit will be continuing the investigation and request that anyone who observed suspicious behaviour in the area, to please contact the Orillia Detachment at 1-705-326-3536 or 1-888-310-1122.
