On March 22, 2023, officers with the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of the Barrie Police Service, and the Orillia, Southern Georgian Bay and Caledon CSCU teams executed two search warrants in Gravenhurst and Brampton following an investigation into several trailer thefts through-out Muskoka and Central Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, the following accused were arrested and face the following charges:
Glenn Tonna (60 years old, of Gravenhurst):
– Theft Over $5,000
– Break and Enter
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Possession of Break in Instruments
– Mischief Under $5,000
– Theft Under $5,000
– Failure to Stop After an Accident
Brandon Tonna (34 years old, of Gravenhurst)
– Theft Over $5,000
– Break and Enter
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Mischief Under $5,000
– Careless storage of a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Kerri Anderson (39 years old, of Gravenhurst)
– Theft Over $5,000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
George Hucal (60 years old, of Brampton)
– Trafficking Property Obtained by Crime
All accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 25, 2023 to answer to their charges.
