Two more impaired drivers to tell you about.
On Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a concern from a member of the public about an impaired driver on Carrick Trail in Gravenhurst, Officers located the vehicle a short distance away and arrested and charged 50-year-old Trevor McIvor of Toronto, with Impaired Operation and Over 80.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 29, 2021 to answer to his charges.
On May 27, 2021 at 12:30 a.m. a Bracebridge OPP officer was conducting speed enforcement on Highway 11 northbound near Hewitt Street in Gravenhurst and became concerned about a vehicle travelling well below the speed limit. The officer conducted a traffic stop and after an investigation, arrested and charged 23 year-old Rahul Kapoor of Scarborough, with Impaired Operation by drug.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 29, 2021 to answer to his charge.
Drivers charged with Impaired Driving face an immediate 90 day driver’s license suspension and their vehicle will be towed and impounded.
