On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Treetop Trekking will host Climb for a Cause simultaneously across all seven Ontario adventure parks. For this one-day initiative, 25% of ticket sales will be donated directly to local food banks in each community. Guests are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be collected at every park and distributed to families in need through the local food banks.

This province-wide initiative blends outdoor adventure with meaningful community support. It offers a chance for families, friends, and thrill-seekers to enjoy Treetop Trekking’s signature zipline and aerial adventure courses while making a tangible impact on food security in Ontario.

In 2024, the event drew hundreds of climbers and generated thousands of dollars in donations for local causes. With the growing demand on food banks across the province, Treetop Trekking is committed to making 2025 its most impactful Climb for a Cause yet.

Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary contribution when they arrive for their adventure. 100% of the donations collected will be provided to the partnered food bank.

Most Needed Food Items Include:

  • Canned proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, beans, lentils)
  • Nut butters
  • Rice, pasta, and whole grains
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Baby formula and baby food
  • Shelf-stable milk or alternatives
  • Soups, stews, and hearty canned meals

“Climb for a Cause is one of the most meaningful days on our calendar, at Treetop Trekking” said Ally from Treetop Trekking. “It’s a chance for our guests to enjoy a fun-filled adventure while also making a real difference in their local community. We’re proud to stand alongside food banks during Hunger Action Month to raise awareness and support. “said by Tina Weltz – Treetop Trekking
