Maynard Brooks of Sundridge won a $100,000 prize with INSTANT WINTER WILD.
Maynard, a retiree, says he’s been playing the lottery since the 1970’s. “I play the lottery every other day. This ticket caught my eye when I was at the store,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The married 84-year-old decided to play his ticket while at the store. “I scratched the bar code and scanned it on the machine. The cashier was really happy for me!”
Maynard says he told his family about the win and his children are happy for him.
He plans to put his win toward retirement. “I’ll also share some with my kids,” Maynard concluded..
The winning ticket was purchased at South River Fresh Mart on Highway 124 in South River.
