On March 2, 2023 a request for officers to attend was made from a Seventh Avenue, Tay Township home as a male was on the property causing a disturbance. Attending officers from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment responded but the suspect had fled the scene prior to their arrival.
Further investigation lead officers to identify the suspect as a 37 year old male from Kingston with ties to the Simcoe County area who was arrested by uniform officers at a King Street Midland business late in the afternoon of March 3, 2023.
The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing on conditions of release related offences. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
