The Orillia OPP have again charged six individuals under the Reopening of Ontario Act, at a short term rental property in Oro-Medonte.
On May 22, 2021, 10:30 p.m., officers received information that several people had congregated at a residence on Lakeshore Road and that the gathering was believed to be in contravention of the Reopening of Ontario Act (ROA). Officers attended and identified six individuals inside the residence, all from the Toronto area, and determined that the location was a short term rental.
Six people were charged, by way of Provincial Offence Notices, with – Individual – fail to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order, contrary to Section 10(1) of the Reopening of Ontario Act.
