Significant Weather Event: Muskoka Waste Facilities

A Significant Weather Event was declared on December 23, 2022 by the District of Muskoka – waste facilities are closed, and will reopen on Tuesday December 27, 2022.

The Significant Weather Event remains in effect – community members are encouraged to stay off the roads, a significant accumulation of snowfall continues to cause hazardous driving conditions.

• Waste Facilities across Muskoka are closed. To keep our staff and community safe – Waste Facility locations will reopen on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 as per regular winter operating hours, pending the forecast.

Curbside collection schedules remain the same over the holiday season, set out material as normal, on your regular collection day.
