The Township of Muskoka Lakes is currently revising its Strategic Plan, which will serve as a roadmap for the municipality in the upcoming term of Council. The strategic planning process will engage Council, staff, and the community to develop a collective vision and set of strategic priorities. Once defined, these strategic priorities will allow the municipality to seize the opportunities before us and build on the tremendous strengths of Muskoka Lakes.
“Active public participation is essential for the success of the Township’s refreshed Strategic Plan,” said Mayor Peter Kelley. “This process will provide you with the chance to have a say in shaping your local government, I encourage everyone to get involved.”
Through this process, we will be collecting feedback via a community survey, available at engagemuskokalakes.ca, between May 8 and 31 as well as hosting in-person community pop-ups in the following locations:

- Foodland in Port Carling – 5:00-7:00 pm
Saturday May 18, 2024
- Glen Orchard General Store – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Windermere Beach – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
