The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the West Parry Sound OPP Crime Unit and with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services have arrested and charged one person in connection with a lengthy Criminal Harassment investigation that started in 2020.
After the previous media release regarding the investigation, more victims have come forward after receiving anonymous letters with harassing content between January and February 2024.
As a result of the investigation, Marie-Claude Breault, 54 years-of-age of Seguin Ontario was again arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment – 2 counts
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 20, 2024.
Police are asking members of the public to come forward if they have received any anonymous letters of a harassing and personal nature to please call the West Parry Sound OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
