Rotary People of Action Huntsville is proud to announce it has been awarded the Rotary Club Excellence Award for 2024-25, the highest honor a Rotary club can achieve.

This distinction recognizes the club’s outstanding efforts over the past year to achieve its goals in service, membership, leadership, and community engagement. By meeting and exceeding these objectives, Rotary People of Action not only strengthened its own club but also contributed to the broader mission of Rotary International: creating lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

“This award is a testament to the energy, vision, and dedication of every single one of our members,” said Jennifer Jerrett, Past Club President. “We are a small but mighty group, and this recognition shows what can be accomplished when people come together with a purpose to serve.”

Highlights of Rotary People of Action Huntsville’s impact over the past year include:

  • Launching new community initiatives such as the Huntsville Legion Revitalization and Team Up to Clean Up a community wide call to action.
  • Supporting community and inclusion efforts through partnerships with local organizations like the Huntsville Legion.
  • Expanding membership and creating new pathways for community members to get involved in Rotary service.
