Renfrew OPP Recover Stolen Vehicle, Orillia Resident Charged

The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a stolen vehicle and charged one person.

On November 14, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Renfrew OPP stopped a vehicle for stunt driving on Highway 17 in McNab-Braeside.

The investigation revealed the vehicle to be stolen, and the driver was taken into custody. During that time, the driver produced multiple false identifications to police and was charged accordingly.

As a result of the investigation, Justice Europe, age 31 of Orillia, ON, was charged with:

· Obstruct peace officer

· Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code

· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000- in Canada

· Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice (identity fraud)

· Fail to comply with probation order

· Speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit

· Drive motor vehicle- perform stunt- excessive speed

· Driving while under suspension

The accused was held in custody.
