The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry will be moving its Parry Sound office space to a new location near downtown ensuring jobs and services remain local while opening the waterfront property to new opportunities.
“The existing office has served the ministry and community well for many decades, but the time is right to find a more modern and inclusive space for ministry staff”, said Graydon Smith, Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry. “Moving to a new location within Parry Sound could have the added benefit of creating new opportunities for future uses of the waterfront property where the current office is located.”
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is working closely with the Ministry of Infrastructure to secure a new office location in Parry Sound. As part of this collaboration, cost analysis indicates the relocation will result in long-term savings, avoiding needed upgrade and maintenance costs.
