Southern Georgian Bay OPP say they responded to an assault complaint by an adult and a family member while they were on Water Street near Owen Street in the Town of Penetanguishene. The report to the OPP Communications Centre at 5:47 p.m. June 5, 2021 and further investigation lead OPP investigators to charge Timothy Patrick Cole, 24 years of Penetanguishene with two counts of Assault.
The accused was released from custody on an undertaking to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 5, 2021.
