The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance call that left a local Orillia business shattered on September 2nd, 2025.
On the 2nd of September 2025 at 4:02 p.m., Orillia OPP were called to a local Orillia business to investigate reports of mischief and property damage. Reports stated that an individual had began smashing windows at the business and had sustained injuries to his hands. Orillia OPP along with Simcoe County Paramedic Services located the individual and transferred them to a local area hospital where they were further treated. The Local business was closed for a significant time to allow for clean up and ensure the safety of all patrons.
As a result; Michael Lambert-Lavis; 38 years old of Oro-Medonte, ON. was subsequently charged with:
- Mischief over $5000
- Fail to comply with Probation Order
The accused is scheduled to appear before the courts on October 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
