On Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2 p.m., the West Parry Sound OPP, the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), the West Parry Sound Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and the Seguin Fire Department, responded to a collision involving a motorized snow vehicle (MSV) on Lake Joseph in Seguin Township.
The OPP investigation determined that the operator was traveling on Lake Joseph when the MVS struck a pressure crack.
63-year-old William Taylor of Waterdown, Ontario was ejected from the MSV and sustained fatal injuries.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) Team.
