Investigators from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment are seeking assistance from the public after the OPP Communication Centre received a complaint of a home invasion that occurred on October 25, 2024, at approximately 4:41 a.m.
Three unknown male suspects entered a Bayview Avenue, Midland Bay Woods, Tay Township residence with a firearm and took physical control of the two occupants while in the home and left a short time later after searching the residence. The occupants are uninjured but shaken by the incident.
Investigation is ongoing with the assistance of officers from the following OPP specialty units, Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Canine (K-9), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Major Crime.
