The Town of Gravenhurst is pleased to welcome our new crossing guard, Joe! Crossing Guard Joe will be assisting with the safe arrival and departure of our youngest citizens attending Gravenhurst Public School.
The new appointment and commitment to added public safety was approved through the 2023 Budget which was adopted by Council in early February. “On behalf of Council, we welcome Joe to the team and thank him for helping to ensure safe behaviours for our community” said Mayor Heidi Lorenz.
“We thank everyone for their continued commitment to obeying the speed limits, being considerate, using common sense and being courteous when using our roadways within this great community.” the town said in a media release.
