Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid multiple charges following an investigation into stolen beer kegs.
On March 14, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m. officers were contacted regarding a suspicious male party attempting to return stolen beer kegs to a local brewery. Officers began an investigation and were able to identify the accused and several affected local businesses.
As a result, Aron Lamoureux, age 38, of Huntsville was charged with:
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
- Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence – Two counts
- Theft Under $5000 – Three counts
- Trafficking in Stolen Goods under $5,000 (incl. possession with intent to traffic) – Two Counts
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
