  1. Yet another teen dies in Muskoka waters and was probably not wearing a life jacket. Why doesn’t the District of Muskoka start telling people to wear a life jacket in the waters of Muskoka if you are not familiar with them? Post lots of signs and start doing a media campaign to prevent unnecessary deaths.
Universal 3 belt PFD $24.99 – 63 in stock at Canadian Tire in Gravenhurst (7pm July 4) Tourists – go get one while you can – the undertows in the waterways can be dangerous in Muskoka and you shouldn’t be boating/canoeing/kayaking/SUP… you get the drift… without one. Store opens 8am. (I’m sure there are other places to buy one but the CT in Gravenhurst doesn’t play games. Nice staff)
Please take care of your loved ones. Please don’t drink and drive on the water.
