Midland Toyota Sees You: $25K Commitment To Strengthen Local Health Care

The Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation is proud to welcome Midland Toyota as a new Business Cares Strategic Partner, thanks to their commitment of $25,000 over five years to support the hospital’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare in North Simcoe.

For more than 30 years, Midland Toyota has been a cornerstone of the local business community, known for its excellence in service, sales, and care. Their motto: “We really do care!” extends beyond their customers to the broader community they call home.

“We’ve always been invested in our community,” says Jim Koch, dealer principal, Midland Toyota. “From the very beginning, Midland Toyota has believed in the ‘Shop Midland’ culture. Our goal has been to support local trades, goods, and services with the long-term belief that the relationships we build will strengthen our community. Still today, we’re proud to work with some of the same local businesses that helped build our store, and to serve customers who purchased their very first vehicles from us.”

As a Business Cares Strategic Partner, Midland Toyota joins the We See You campaign, a bold, $20-million initiative to strengthen health care at GBGH through investments in vital equipment, technology, and acute mental health services. The campaign is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be seen and cared for.

“We are incredibly grateful to Midland Toyota for their generous commitment to our hospital and our community,” says Nicole Kraftscik, CEO, GBGH Foundation. “This partnership is a powerful reflection of the values behind the We See You campaign: recognizing the importance of local health care and choosing to invest in its future. This support will make a meaningful difference for patients at GBGH, and we’re honoured to have Midland Toyota standing with us.”

Through this partnership, Midland Toyota joins a growing network of businesses who see the importance of health care and choose to invest in its future. Together, these organizations are building a stronger hospital, and a stronger community, for everyone who needs care, now and in the years to come.
