The Orillia OPP have located and arrested a male for thefts from multiple vehicles in Severn Township overnight.
On March 11, 2023, around 11 p.m., Orillia OPP officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in Severn Township. The male accused was seen entering multiple vehicles in the area. The accused then fled the scene after being approached by the complainant.
The Orillia OPP Officers along with OPP K9 Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) began searching for the accused. The accused was located shortly after 12 am in the garage of another home.
The accused was identified as Russell Felts, 35 years old of Severn Township. The Orillia OPP arrested the accused. He is currently being held for an appearance before the Provincial courts on Sunday March 12, 2023.
