Longest Running Pro-Am Tournament Celebrates 38 Years In Muskoka

The 38th annual Dave Ellis Pro-Am Golf Tournament was another resounding success, raising $20,000 for the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, and bringing the tournament’s total support over the years to
$780,000.

One of the longest running pro-am tournaments in Canada, the event was established in
memory of the late Dave Ellis, a well-respected golf pro at the Muskoka Lakes Golf and
Country Club (MLG&CC) where the annual tournament is held.

Guests of the special event enjoy a three course dinner at MLG&CC, followed by a day of
golf on the prestigious course, buffet lunch, and sought after awards.

Proceeds from the event support patient care at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital
through the purchase of new and replacement tools and technology, which is only possible
with donor support.

Special thanks to tournament participants, sponsors, and planning committee: Neil Paton,
Jordan Nathan, Katie Doyle, Jen Stephen, and the late Leslie Cleveland.
