We are seeking a skilled laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, be reliable and punctual, be able to work efficiently and possibly on multiple job sites and have a valid driver’s license. Hardscape experience is an asset but not required. Hourly plus 4% vacation pay and stat holidays, paid bi-weekly, includes WSIB and wage is negotiable based on experience.
Duties:
– Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor in construction projects
– Follow instructions from supervisors to perform duties
– Assist with the setup and cleanup of work sites and equipment
– Operate hand and power tools without supervision
– Operate skid steer and/or excavator as required
Experience:
– Proven experience as a skilled laborer in the construction industry
– Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and tools
– Strong work ethic and physical stamina
– Excellent organizational skills
Skills:
– Proficiency in using hand and power tools
– Experience operating a skid steer and excavator
– Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment, as well as on your own
– Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a construction setting
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings is an asset, but not required
