Huntsville Resident Faces Several Charges After A Disturbance

The Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested an individual after a report of a disturbance in a residence in the Town of Huntsville.

On June 7, 2024, at 4:13 a.m., officers of the Huntsville OPP detachment responded to a report of a disturbance at an address on Ferguson Road in the Town of Huntsville. When officers arrived, an individual was arrested for assaulting two individuals.

As a result of the investigation, Thomas Fletcher 34-years-old of Huntsville was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault – two counts
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property
  • Uttering threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The victims received minor injuries and did not require transport to a medical facility.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
