Home Invasion In Orillia Has OPP Looking For Suspects

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a home invasion that occurred in Orillia.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at a residence on Colborne Street West in the City of Orillia. One individual inside the home was assaulted and property was taken. No life threatening injuries were reported.

Two vehicles believed to be involved, a white Subaru WRX and a dark coloured pickup truck, were seen leaving the area.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Orillia OPP Crime Unit with assistance from Forensic Identification Services (FIS). There is no threat to public safety at this time.
