Haliburton Highlands OPP Seize Drugs, Money And An Imitation Firearm

Three people are facing charges after the execution of a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant in Dysart et al.

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haliburton Highlands Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment CSCU executed a CDSA search warrant at a residence on Skyline Park Road in Municipality of Dysart Et Al.

As a result of the search, police seized suspected crack cocaine, approximately $4,225 in Canadian currency, and an imitation firearm.

As a result of the investigation, Christine Reynolds, 68-years-old from Dysart et al, was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

• Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose

• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Additionally, Jaydon Sandiford, 18-years-old from Oshawa; was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

• Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose

• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Additionally, Jaheim Thompson, 18-years-old from Oshawa, was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

• Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose

• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

The three accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in November.
