The highly anticipated Bala Cranberry Festival will mark its 40th year of bringing autumn
excitement to the Muskoka region from Friday, October 18-Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Known for its vibrant artisan market, lively entertainment, talented buskers, and mouthwatering food, the Bala Cranberry Festival offers an unforgettable mix of family-friendly fun. This year, the
Kid Zone is filled with excitement, featuring a trackless train, carnival games, and a giant
inflatable slide! Plus, Scales Nature Park will be at the festival both Saturday and Sunday,
offering kids the chance to meet and interact with a variety of fascinating critters.
Beyond the festival grounds, there’s even more to enjoy throughout the town, including the
popular Rotary Duck Race and a bustling vendor farmers market at Portage Landing.
No visit to the Bala Cranberry Festival is complete without a stop at Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery. Please note that Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery operates separately from the
festival, so be sure to book your tickets directly with the Farm at www.cranberry.ca.
By attending the Bala Cranberry Festival, visitors directly support its non-profit mission to extend the tourist season in Bala and enhance the community through bursaries and funding for local groups.
Visitors who wish to skip the lines can purchase their tickets in advance at
www.balacranberryfestival.on.ca/tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate on festival day. Admission includes the 2024 edition of the festival’s collectible button.
