Drug Bust In Parry Sound Results In Charges

The North East Region Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged multiple people with drug offences.

On September 30, 2025, members of the North East Region CSCU assisted by West Parry Sound OPP Detachment executed a drug warrant at a residence on Isabella Street in the Town of Parry Sound.

A search of the residence, officers seized $1300 in Canadian currency and a quantity of drugs suspected to be cocaine and fentanyl with an estimated street value of $16,000.

Christopher Therrien, 41-years-of-age of Barrie Ontario, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – other opioid
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
  • Fail to comply with probation
  • Fail to comply with release order

The accused was held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and is scheduled to appear on October 16, 2025.

Brandon Deacon, 33-years-of-age of Whitestone, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – other opioid
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation
  • Fail to comply with release order

The accused was held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and is scheduled to appear on October 3, 2025.

Cassandra Shelley, 36-years-of-age of Parry Sound, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – other opioid
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on November 6, 2025.

Dale Cribbie, 51-years-of-age of Parry Sound, was arrested and charged with:

·        Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

·        Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – other opioid

·        Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

·        Fail to comply with probation

The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on November 6, 2025.
