On January 24, 2020, City of Kawartha Lakes OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 35 near Lifford Road.
The vehicle was travelling at 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and was towed from the scene when the 44-year-old Pickering resident was charged with Race a motor vehicle – excessive speed. The driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 7 days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Lindsay Court on March 3, 2020.
