The Orillia OPP arrested and charged one male driver with impaired operation related charges.
On March 12, 2023, just before 11:59 a.m., officers from Orillia OPP were called to a traffic collision on Highway 12 South in the Township of Ramara. Two vehicles collided while passing traffic, sending one vehicle into a telephone pole, and the second vehicle into a stop sign and a utilities box. All parties were alert, and no injuries were reported.
As a result, Robin Sydney, 57-year-old, from Orillia has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired- alcohol
- Dangerous Operation
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, to answer to the charges on April 23, 2023.
