Staff Sergeant Jeremy McDonald, Commander of the OPP West Parry Sound Detachment, is pleased to announce that Craig Gaukel has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is now a Platoon Sergeant for the West Parry Sound Detachment.
Sergeant Gaukel began his career with the Toronto Police Service in 2001. He transferred to the OPP in 2007 where his first posting was in the West Region at the Haldimand County Detachment. He then transferred to the Norfolk County Detachment and served his last eight years as a Detective in the Crime Unit.
