A motor vehicle collision has sent four people to hospital, including one person with injuries requiring transport to a Toronto-area hospital via ORNGE air ambulance.
On February 19, 2023 just before 6 p.m., Southern Georgian Bay OPP along with the Tay Township Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedics attended the intersection of Hogg Valley Road and Rumney Road in Tay Township for a report of a two vehicle collision. Both involved vehicles left the roadway as a result of the collision, all involved parties were transported to hospital.
The area around the intersection will be closed for the evening to allow for an investigation of the collision. Please avoid this area in your travels. No charges have been laid at this time.
