- We are looking for a qualified carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.
Requirements and skills: Proven experience as carpenter Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Good knowledge of English
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance
High school diploma
- We are looking for a qualified Painter to work on custom homes, cottages and boathouses. Your job will entail working in diverse settings – interior and exterior painting. Your job will include working with all paints and stains, working on ladders, caulking, prepping and sanding areas/materials, pre-finishing materials in our shop, placing paint orders when necessary, keeping the work space clean and organized, etc.
Requirements and skills:
Experience is an asset (good understanding of application of all paints and stains)
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Good knowledge of English
Good physical condition and endurance
Attention to detail
40-44 hours per week, wage to be discussed based on experience. (for both positions)
