A Search Warrant In Midland Recovers Drugs And Weapons

A search warrant on an Queen Street, Midland residence has resulted in the seizure of a wooden baseball bat loaded with nails, along with a quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, Clonazepam, stolen property and associated drug paraphernalia.

The execution of the warrant in the afternoon hours of May 24, 2023 is the result of an ongoing investigation led by members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) attached to the Southern Georgian Bay/Orillia/Collingwood Detachments and assisted at the scene by uniform officers.

As a result of this warrant a number of individuals have been identified who will be subject to further investigation and reported on in an updated media release.
