This September, Treetop Trekking is inviting adventurers of all ages to take part in its annual Climb for a Cause event, combining outdoor fun with meaningful community impact. Held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at participating parks, this year’s initiative proudly partners with local food banks during Hunger Action Month to support families and individuals across Ontario.
At Huntsville, all donations will go directly to The Table Foundation, helping ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary contribution when they arrive for their adventure. 100% of the donations collected will be provided to the partnered food bank.
Most Needed Food Items Include:
- Canned proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, beans, lentils)
- Nut butters
- Rice, pasta, and whole grains
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Baby formula and baby food
- Shelf-stable milk or alternatives
- Soups, stews, and hearty canned meals
“Climb for a Cause is one of the most meaningful days on our calendar, at Treetop Trekking” said Ally from Treetop Trekking. “It’s a chance for our guests to enjoy a fun-filled adventure while also making a real difference in their local community. We’re proud to stand alongside food banks during Hunger Action Month to raise awareness and support. “said by Tina Weltz – Treetop Trekking
