Effective Monday, March 13 at 12:01 a.m., the annual reduced load limit will be in place to ensure the road base on all Town of Bracebridge roadways are not damaged due to thawing temperatures and heavy vehicles. Temporary signage will be installed to remind drivers of the restriction, however the absence of signage does not waive the restriction. The load limit will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31 unless otherwise specified.

The following roads are exempt from the reduced load limit period:

This restriction is pursuant to Section 122(7) of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.H.8 as amended, and in accordance with the Town’s Reduced Load Period By-Law 2022-045. For more information, visit bracebridge.ca/publicworks.
