The Huntsville OPP say they arrested and charged a 47-year old Huntsville man with uttering threats, criminal harassment and other criminal activities.
Police say on June 29, 2021 at 3:35 p.m. they commenced an investigation involving threats which occurred in the Town of Huntsville.
As a result of the investigation Scott Mitchell of Huntsville was arrested and charged with the following:
- Two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused was released from custody by way of an undertaking and is scheduled to appear on August 18, 2021 in Huntsville court.
On June 29, 2021 just before 6 p.m. the OPP responded to another threatening complaint involving Scott Mitchell. As a result of this investigation the male was arrested and charged with the following:
- Criminal harassment
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Failure to comply with an undertaking
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing scheduled for June 30, 2021.
