Huntsville Company Named Winner At Inaugural Ontario Made Awards

A food distribution company with their head office in Huntsville has been named one of four winners in the inaugural Ontario Made Awards.

On behalf of its Ontario Made program, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) is pleased to announce the winners of the inaugural Ontario Made Awards. The best of the best in Ontario manufacturing and retailing were celebrated at the virtual Ontario Made Awards Ceremony on Feb. 24. Winners for these awards are Ontario manufacturers and retailers that help consumers make informed purchasing decisions and increase the sale and awareness of Ontario-made products. Grey Jay Sales & Distribution won in the Merchandising Excellence category.

“The Ontario Made Awards are an important piece of the Ontario Made program to help CME realize its vision of supporting and promoting Ontario-made products and strengthening our economy together,” said Mathew Wilson, Senior Vice President of Policy, Government Relations and the Ontario Division at CME.

Grey Jay Sales & Distribution has their head office in Huntsville and their distribution centre in Richmond Hill. The company supports manufacturers across Ontario to help achieve listings and shelf displays at corporate stores. Grey Jay has partnered with Loblaws to help promote the Ontario Made program and launch racks filled with Ontario-made products featured prominently at over 200 Loblaw banner locations.
