On Monday December 5, 2022 the West Parry Sound OPP investigated an incident at the high school that led to a lock down of the school.
Police investigation revealed that a student was in possession of a weapon, and as a result of that investigation a 16 year-old youth was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Police report there were no injuries and no further safety concerns.
Police are continuing to investigate.
