Weather advisory issued for:
Barrie – Orillia – Midland,
Port Carling – Port Severn,
Bracebridge – Gravenhurst,
Lake effect snow will intensify this afternoon and persist into this evening. Westerly winds gusting to 60 km/h are also expected to generate blowing snow.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero due to blowing snow.
Total snowfall amounts may reach 10 cm over a few locations close to Georgian Bay.
