Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

Hazards:
Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 1 to 3 cm per hour.
Reduced visibility in snow and local blowing snow.

Timing:
This morning through tonight.

Discussion:
Snow will develop this morning and may initially be mixed with ice pellets. Snow will taper to flurries or drizzle this evening with a chance of freezing drizzle.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
