West Parry Sound OPP Charge Two People With Multiple Drug Charges

The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged the driver and passenger of a motor vehicle with multiple drug charges.

On May 19, 2024, shortly before 1:00 a.m. members of the West Parry Sound OPP conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Bowes Street in the Town of Parry Sound after receiving a complaint about the same vehicle earlier in McKellar Township.

As a result of the investigation, Wallace Luscombe, 46 years-of-age of Seguin Ontario was arrested and charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – 2 counts

·        Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid

·        Fail to Comply with Probation Order

 

Renee Hamel, 31 years-of-age of Seguin Ontario was arrested and charged with:

·        Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – 2 counts

·        Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid

Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 4, 2024 and LUSCOMBE was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
