Reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow.

Discussion:
Lake effect flurries and local snow squalls are possible today and tonight. Periods of reduced visibility together with snow accumulating on roadways could make travel difficult.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
