Two Charged After Assault At Penetanguishene Rotary Park

Southern Georgian Bay OPP say they responded to an assault complaint in the Penetanguishene Rotary Champlain Wendat Park near the Penetanguishene Curling Rink Parking lot. At 7:27 p.m. June 6, 2021 police got the call after someone alleged being threatened by two others with one carrying a bat.

Investigation has lead to charges for David Butler 37 years of Midland with the Criminal offences of Assault with A Weapon and Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm. Cameron Leduc 21 years of Penetanguishene has also been charged with the Criminal offence of Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm.

Both accused have a court date in mid July.
