Township Of Tiny’s Winter Carnaval D’Hiver Welcomes More Than 750 People

On February 11, 2023, the Township of Tiny held its Winter Carnaval d’Hiver! This exciting event was held at Perkinsfield Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and was attended by more than 750 residents and visitors.

The Winter Carnaval d’Hiver had something for everyone in the community to enjoy. Attendees enjoyed a variety of winter activities including horse-drawn wagon rides, carnival games, and try-it-on
snowshoeing. Hungry attendees enjoyed a free pancake lunch, generously donated by Phil’s Catering and Event Rentals.
Foodies warmed up with some hot chocolate and apple cider.

Campers-at-heart gathered around the fire to roast marshmallows and homemade bannock. Folks were toe-tapping to music played by Rock 95. Sports fanatics eagerly tried their hand at the Tiny Lions Club mini stick stadium. Bex in Motion heated up the Carnaval with an outstanding fire performance.

Thank you to all who joined us at Winter Carnaval d’Hiver! This event was only possible thanks to the many community sponsors, partners and volunteers who made it all happen. We may be Tiny, but our community has big hearts!

“Surrounded by an abundance of outdoor activities, it’s no wonder that residents and visitors alike enjoyed the 2023 Winter Carnaval d’Hiver,” said Mayor David Evans. “The event was a great way to
bring the community together to celebrate our winter season. We hope to see you all next year!”
