The Township of Ramara is holding a by-election to fill the Ward 4 vacancy that was officially declared at the December 11, 2023 Council meeting.
The By-Election is scheduled for May 13, 2024, with nominations opening on February 5. The By-Election portal is a one-stop-shop for all information related to the event, including voter registration, candidate details, Ward 4 boundary information, and resources for third-party advertisers. The Township of Ramara is encouraging residents to visit the Register to Vote site to ensure they have been included in the Preliminary List of Electors and all their information is correct. Through this site, eligible voters can confirm, update, and add their information to vote in Ontario’s provincial, municipal, or school board elections.
Voting for the 2024 Municipal By-Election will be conducted through telephone, internet and in-person paper voting. These three different options for voting will give residents in Ramara an accessible and convenient way to vote.
