Toronto Man Charged In Connection With Restaurant Incident In Orillia

The Orillia detachment of the OPP have charged a male with voyeurism after a cell phone was located in the washroom of an Orillia restaurant.

The incident took place on July 12 and a thorough investigation was conducted by the Orillia Crime Unit. On December 10, the Orillia OPP Crime Unit, Street Crime Unit and OPP Electronic Crime Unit executed a warrant at a Toronto address and arrested a male party.

A 38-year-old male of Toronto has been charged with voyeurism and mischief. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing December 11 in Orillia Criminal Court.
